Virtuoso piano music

Pianist Kristina Miller, who originally comes from Moscow, likes to display her exceptional technique in virtuoso works. And she has chosen a special programme for her recital at the Elbphilharmonie: in addition to Bach’s famous D minor Chaconne in the Busoni arrangement, we also hear Rachmaninov’s Sonata No. 2 in B flat minor, one of the composer’s most important works, and Cziffra’s paraphrase on »Die Fledermaus« by Johann Strauss. The audience can look forward to a breathtaking evening!
