Christmas Concert
The annual Christmas concert given by the Balthasar Neumann Choir and Orchestra is a long-established tradition in Hamburg. It sometimes features major works like Bach’s B minor Mass, while on other occasions the musicians put the Hamburg audience in the mood for Advent and Christmas with their own programme. In 2022, things will be especially festive with music for choir and brass ensemble: a journey through different eras and countries will take us from the Baroque masters Heinrich Schütz and Heinrich Ignaz Franz Biber to Roger Harvey.
