Tom Liwa‘s new album is entitled »Eine andere Zeit« (»Another Time«): 14 songs that pick various concepts apart – of gender, of perspectives, of song structures, even of what used to be known as »indie rock«. The record is opulently orchestrated. Absolutely within the pop genre in places, while in other parts the music gets just as out of hand as the deluge of words. In just the same spirit that the concerts are intended: as a colourful bouquet of surprises.
