Description

When a top ensemble like the Hagen Quartet joins forces with star cellist Sol Gabetta, and puts a repertoire gem on the programme such as Schubert’s Quintet for two violins, viola and two cellos, then this is a concert that should not be missed on any account! The family quartet, which has been playing together for over 30 years, regularly brings in a soloist they are friendly with to breathe new life into their stage partnership. And Sol Gabetta loves a fruitful musical exchange, not only in the setting of her festival »Solsberg«; this is something that chamber music in particular is intensely suited to.
