Philharmonic Chamber Music Recital

The Orchestra Academy of the Philharmonic State Orchestra prepares highly talented young instrumentalists for a career as professional musicians in a major international orchestra. The 14 academy members are part of the Hamburg Philharmonic State Orchestra for two years. At their annual chamber concert, the stage belongs to them alone for one evening: Sometimes in classical, sometimes in unusual instrumentations, they present their skills in the Small Hall of the Elbphilharmonie.
