No one who has heard his debut song »Sonnendeck« is likely to forget him. For six years after that indie-pop summer hit – during which time he released a number of studio albums and published a novel – PeterLicht remained anonymous: no one knew how he looked or who he was. But the identity of the »Sonnendeck Man« was revealed when he was awarded the Audience Award and the 3Sat Award at the Ingeborg Bachmann Competition in Klagenfurt for his »The Story of My Assessment at the Beginning of the Third Millennium«. These days he is also a familiar presence as a writer and director on prestigious theatre stages in the German-speaking world.
