Tal Yadin and Omri Abramov are two Israeli jazz musicians based in Berlin. Omri is a jazz saxophonist and EW (an electronic synthesizer instrument) player, co-founder of modern jazz group Niogi, a bandleader and a musical producer. Tal is a jazz and rock guitarist, leader of his own jazz group and a sideman in numerous musical projects. Together they form the Big Berry Duo, a dynamic and unique sounding duo in which they share their similar approaches towards melody, sound, composition and improvisation. The Big Berry Duo plays Tal and Omri’s original compositions in an acoustic format of soprano saxophone and acoustic guitar, spiced with loops and sound effects.
Jazz at the Kulturcafé is a monthly event presenting the most promising upcoming artists in the jazz and singer-songwriter scene. It is the perfect experimental platform for musicians and bands from Hamburg and all over the country. The atmosphere is laid back – and admission is free!
