Four Styles

One instrument, four styles: the »Four Styles« guitar festival brings together four musicians from very different genres. Scottish musician Ian Melrose has been playing in the acoustic fingerstyle for more than 30 years, while Hamburg-based guitarist Heiko Ossig specialises in the repertoire for classical guitar. Rüdiger Krause is a committed advocate of the music of Carla Bley, representing the jazz world in this concert. And the experienced flamenco guitarist Nikos Tsiachris brings with him a dose of passionate music from Spain. In addition to solo performances, the four guitarists also demonstrate the instrument’s richness and versatility as an ensemble.
