As part of an international competition, the »Lebendige Stadt« Foundation honours the winner of its annual Foundation Award, this year the »Most Vibrant Twin Towns«. The competition jury included, among others, the Secretary of State of the Federal Ministry for Environment and Building, Gunther Adler, and trans performance artist Olivia Jones. One day after awarding the prize, some 750 policy makers from cities and municipalities from across the world meet for at the Elbphilharmonie on the occasion of the city congress »Lebendige Stadt«.
