The concert programme of the Elbphilharmonie and the Laeiszhalle cannot go ahead as planned due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic. This event has had to be cancelled – it will not be rescheduled on an alternative date. The Landesjugendorchester Hamburg is the City of Hamburg’s official youth orchestra. In two rehearsal phases each year, it puts together demanding concert programmes that are then presented at a big final concert at the Laeiszhalle in each case.
