Pianist Béla Meinberg presents his new trio album »Akkolo«. That word, which in the pianist’s childhood was allowed to serve as a universal word for all kinds of things, also describes the Berlin trio’s second album most aptly: everything that pleases and is fun is on it. Except food. With Thorbjørn Stefansson and Jordan Dinsdale, one of the most innovative and creative rhythm groups in the capital has come together to create music.
Jazz at the Kulturcafé is a monthly event presenting the most promising upcoming artists in the jazz and singer-songwriter scene. It is the perfect experimental platform for musicians and bands from Hamburg and all over the country. The atmosphere is laid back – and admission is free!
