»À la française«
Symphoniker Hamburg / Chamber Music Recital
The combination of harp and flute has been popular since the age of the Egyptian pharaohs. France would later become an important centre, with Claude Debussy and Jean Cras writing outstanding works for the harp’s magical, iridescent colours. The programme on this atmospheric evening includes amazing works from the late Romantic, Impressionist and avant-garde periods. Chamber music interplay that is at times delicate, at times full of power and virtuosity!
