Verträumt und virtuos

Hana Chang studiert an der renommierten Kronberg Academy bei Geigenstar Christian Tetzlaff und ist auf dem besten Weg, selbst ein Star zu werden. Die in den USA geborene Violinistin konzertiert bereits weltweit und gewann wichtige Preise, wie zuletzt bei der Queen Elisabeth Competition. In die Laeiszhalle bringt sie eine Sonate von Mozart mit, die der Komponist einst für eine ebenfalls junge, herausragende Virtuosin schrieb. Auf ein märchenhaft-verträumtes Stück von Tōru Takemitsu folgt zum Abschluss Brahms’ beliebte Dritte und letzte Violinsonate.

Kulinarisches Angebot vor dem Konzert

Frisch gestärkt lässt sich das Konzert mit den jungen Nachwuchstalenten noch mehr genießen: Die Konzertgastronomie hat vor den Konzerten von 14:45–15:45 Uhr geöffnet und bietet Kaffee, Tee und Kuchen an. Bitte beachten Sie, dass der Weg vom Kleinen Saal zum Brahms-Foyer nicht barrierefrei ist und dass die Anzahl der Plätze begrenzt ist.

Die 2002 geborene Hana Chang ist Preisträgerin zahlreicher internationaler Wettbewerbe wie dem Internationalen Königin-Elisabeth-Violinwettbewerbs 2024. Außerdem ist sie Teil des BBC New Generation Artist Scheme 2024-26 und konzertiert mit renommierten Orchestern auf. Als begeisterte Kammermusikerin war Hana bei zahlreichen Festivals aufgetreten und hat mit Künstler:innen wie Janine Jansen, Sol Gabetta, Daniel Müller-Schott und anderen zusammengearbeitet. Hana lebt derzeit in Berlin und studiert bei Christian Tetzlaff an der Kronberg Academy. Dieses Studium wird durch das Nikolas Gruber-Patronat gefördert. Sie wird weiterhin von Janine Jansen betreut, bei der sie an der Haute École de Musique in Sion (Schweiz) studierte.

Chamber music series, lieder recitals, children's concerts and jazz events seem to be made for the Recital Hall of the Laeiszhalle, which can accommodate up to 640 guests. (Please note: The Laeiszhalle is a separate concert hall located three kilometres away from the Elbphilharmonie.)

Cloakrooms

Strollers, prams, wheeled walkers, walking-stick umbrellas, bags sized A3 (42 cm x 30 cm) or above, sport bags, backpacks and luggage must be checked in at the cloakroom.

Jackets and handbags may be taken into the hall.
Toilet Facilities

Facilities for guests of the Recital Hall are located to the right of the hall entrance. Barrier-free toilets are also available.

Please note: There are several construction sites in the immediate vicinity of the Laeiszhalle which may make it difficult to get to the concert. Please therefore plan enough time for your journey to the concert.
Laeiszhalle is not at the Elbphilharmonie

The Laeiszhalle is a separate concert hall located three kilometres away from the Elbphilharmonie.
Arrival time

We suggest visitors arrive at the Laeiszhalle main entrance not later than 30 minutes before the start of the concert or event. Late seating is not guaranteed and latecomers may not be admitted to the concert hall.

The entrance of the Recital Hall is located on Gorch-Fock-Wall.

Admission times Grand Hall and Recital Hall:

Events without pre-concert talk:
Foyer: 60 minutes before the start of the event
Hall: 30 minutes before the start of the event

Events with pre-concert talk:
Foyer: 90 minutes before the start of the event
Hall: 15 minutes before the start of the talk
