Description
Loved for her captivating interpretations, her passioniate, physical and animated artistry, and not least for her charisma is the Argentine-French cellist Sol Gabetta. She appears as guest artist with the baroque ensemble Il Giardino Armonico in the series »International Soloists«.
Together with the Italian baroque specialist, Il Giardino Armonico’s founder and conductor Giovanni Antonini, a varied and colourful programme has been put together - with works by Johann Sebastian Bach, his sons and by Georg Philipp Telemann, who was music director of Hamburg’s five largest churches over 300 years ago.
