Die Hamburger Camerata als Ohr zur Welt: In jeder Saison widmet die Camerata mindestens ein Konzert der Musik eines bestimmten Landes und stellt dessen Komponisten und Interpreten vor – bei diesem Konzert Israel. Dafür hat das Ensemble ein Auftragswerk an den Gewinner der International Composer Competition der Hamburger Camerata vergeben. Gewonnen hat ihn Maximilian Guth, dessen Werk »Melasurej« nun uraufgeführt wird. Israel ist auch das Heimatland der Musiker vom Trio Mondrian – womit auch die Besetzung für Beethovens virtuoses Tripelkonzert steht, das gleich drei herausragende Solisten braucht und den Auftakt des Abends macht. Zum Abschluss folgt Mendelssohns nur selten gespielte Erste Sinfonie: Sie ist der geniale Wurf eines 15-Jährigen und steht noch ganz in der Tradition der Wiener Klassik.

Since 1908, the Laeiszhalle has been a meeting place for Hamburg's musical life. The neo-baroque Laeiszhalle Grand Hall accommodates over 2,000 guests.

  • Cloakrooms

    Cloakrooms are located in the foyer areas. Baby carriages, wheeled walkers, walking-stick umbrellas, handbags larger than DIN A3 (42 cm x 30 cm) as well as sport bags, backpacks and suitcases must be checked in at the cloakroom. If required, wheeled walkers can be parked in the immediate vicinity of the hall entrances. Our front of house staff is happy to assist you in this regard.

    Three parking spaces for visitors with disabilities are located at the entrance on Gorch-Fock-Wall. Six parking spaces for visitors with disibilites are available in front of the Artists’ Entrance on Dragonerstall.
