Ensemble-Vielfalt im NDR

To showcase the full diversity of 21st-century music—that is the guiding principle of the festival »Elbphilharmonie Visions«. For the ensembles of the NDR, this challenge is tailor-made. Under the umbrella of the NDR, two orchestras, a big band, and a vocal ensemble together cover an almost unmanageable abundance of musical forms, genres, and styles. It is therefore only logical that the NDR Bigband is now taking part in »Elbphilharmonie Visions« for the first time as well, sharing the stage with the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra under the direction of chief conductor and festival initiator Alan Gilbert.
