Description
The nathan quartett is at home in Hamburg: not only was the quartet founded here twelve years ago, but it has also earned itself a prominent place in Hamburg’s music scene through its successful chamber music series in the Laeiszhalle. In the new season, the nathan quartett breaks new ground for concert programming. The ensemble starts its concert series with music and letters by Ludwig van Beethoven and throws new light on the composer together with actor Felix Julius. In this concert, Beethoven’s String Quartets Op. 18/6 in B-flat major and Op. 59/3 in C major provide a framework that will be enriched by letters and texts.
