Description

Love or death: which is stronger? This existential question is the central theme in Fritz Lang’s silent film »Destiny« (Der müde Tod, 1921). A young woman is determined to do whatever it takes to save her dead lover from the hereafter. But even though Death is tired of killing, he refuses to be tricked. Manuel Gera performs the film music live on the Elbphilharmonie’s monumental organ – turning the Grand Hall into the world’s most awe-inspiring cinema auditorium!
