Leszek Możdżer is considered one of the most important protagonists of the younger jazz piano scene. He traverses the borders between classical and jazz, and through his improvisions of Frédéric Chopin’s motifs he created his own style. With his solo programme »Komeda«, Poland’s most popular jazz musician honours the music of legendary pianist and film composer Krzysztof Komeda, who achieved international recognition through his soundtracks for Roman Polanski.
