3. Russisches Kammermusikfest Hamburg
Werke bedeutender russischer Komponisten gerade in Hamburg, seit 55 Jahren Partnerstadt St. Petersburgs, zu Gehör zu bringen, ist das Anliegen des Vereins Musikförderung e.V. mit dem 3. Russischen Kammermusikfest Hamburg. Kammer- und Klaviermusik von der Spätromantik bis zur Moderne wird in sieben Konzerten von erstklassigen internationalen Künstlern präsentiert. Das vollständige Programm sehen Sie unter www.russisches-kammermusikfest.de Gleich drei der berühmtesten Professoren des Liszt Konservatoriums in Budapest nahmen sich der jungen Musiker am Beginn ihrer Karriere an und zählen bis heute zu deren Mentoren, darunter György Kurtág, der auch für das Keller-Quartett komponierte. Gegründet 1987, gelang ihm bereits 1990 der internationale Durchbruch. Das Ensemble gastiert weltweit, war zuletzt bei den Berliner Festspielen, dem Helsinki Festival und beim Vlaandern Festival zu erleben. In ihrem Programm zum Ausklang des Russischen Kammermusikfestes spannen die vier Musiker einen Bogen von Rubinsteins im Geiste Mendelssohns 1852 komponierten Quartett aus dessen früher Schaffensphase, gehen über zu Schnittkes 3. Quartett, das sich bereits deutlich in dessen polystilistischen Komponierstil einrahmt und schließen mit Beethovens Op. 59, einem Kompositionsauftrag des russischen Botschafters in Wien, Graf Rasumowsky, den der Komponist zum Anlass nahm eine russische Volksliedweise zu verarbeiten.

Chamber music series, lieder recitals, children's concerts and jazz events seem to be made for the Recital Hall of the Laeiszhalle, which can accommodate up to 640 guests. (Please note: The Laeiszhalle is a separate concert hall located three kilometres away from the Elbphilharmonie.)

We suggest visitors arrive at the Laeiszhalle main entrance not later than 30 minutes before the start of the concert or event. Late seating is not guaranteed and latecomers may not be admitted to the concert hall.
