Music for the American ancestors

Double-bass player, composer, singer and bandleader – the musical life of French veteran Henri Texier has many facets. One of these was his intense interest in the indigenous peoples of America, to whom he dedicated a trilogy of albums. At the Elbphilharmonie, the Henri Texier Septet performs the profound music of »An Indian’s Life«.
