Sound mystic Mark Andre

Ingo Metzmacher is a well-known figure in Hamburg, having led the Hamburg Philharmonic State Orchestra as General Music Director of the Hamburg State Opera from 1997 to 2005. The commitment to contemporary music he demonstrated in that role has continued to grow and is above all evident when he takes the podium to conduct special orchestras such as Ensemble Modern. As part of the Hamburg International Music Festival, Metzmacher and Ensemble Modern are returning to the city with a cyclical performance of the series »rwh« by the French-born sound mystic Mark Andre.
