Description

The British music critic Robert Matthew-Walker wrote, »In terms of virtuosity, intensity, phrasing, tone colour and profound musical understanding, Emmanuel Tjeknavorian has everything«. Born in Vienna, the violinist grew up in a family of musicians and made his first public appearance with an orchestra at the age of seven. In his recital, Tjeknavorian, who also studied with Gerhard Schulz, the former violinist of the Alban Berg Quartet, will perform works for solo violin that span three centuries.
