For her intimate chamber music programme »Darker than Black«, Viennese viola da gamba virtuoso and Elbphilharmonie Artist in Residence Eva Reiter has chosen works from the early 17th century as well as present-day pieces, producing a touching ode to the subject of melancholy – a Greek word meaning »black bile«.
