Collegium 1704 / Klaas Stok
Das Alte Werk

Johann Christoph Graupner, the long-time Darmstadt court music director and friend to the great Baroque composer Georg Philipp Telemann, was one of the most productive composers of his age. He left around 2,000 works, of which 1,400 were church cantatas. Klaas Stok has now selected two of these for his concert with the outstanding Collegium 1704 from Prague and the NDR Chor.
