CANCELLED: Trio Accanto

For almost 30 years, Trio Accanto – featuring saxophone, piano and percussion – has been presenting contemporary chamber music at its finest. The three musicians have premiered countless works that would probably never have been composed if their ensemble didn’t exist. For them, unchartered musical territory is familiar ground. Two and a half years after cancelling their concert in June 2020 because of the coronavirus, they now finally come to the Elbphilharmonie Recital Hall to perform four outstanding new works.
