Since it was founded in 1951, the NDR das neue werk concert series has always had its finger on the musical pulse. The NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra and top-class guests such as Quatuor Diotima and the pianist François-Frédéric Guy perform avantgarde classics by composers such as Karlheinz Stockhausen, John Adams and György Ligeti, along with a number of premieres. At the beginning of the season, the focus is on Wolfgang Rihm .
