Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival

Description

Castles, barns, stables and churches are converted into concert halls during the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival. The festival, which offers concerts at more than 60 out of the ordinary venues around Northern Germany, is dedicated to a different composer each year: from 1 July to 27 August the focus is placed on Maurice Ravel; Artist in Residence is Israeli mandolinist Avi Avital.

This year’s festival also returns to Hamburg with nine concerts at the Elbphilharmonie and one at the Laeiszhalle.
