She She Pop: Oratorium

Property changes one’s consciousness. It separates friends, it gives people power over others, and it excludes people. Property is taken for granted and no-one talks about it. Nothing is as fundamental to our society and to how we live with one another; nothing splits a community like property does. At the »Lux aeterna« festival, the performance collective She She Pop invites the audience to a dialogue both internal and external: inspired by Brecht’s didactic play theory, She She Pop develops rules for a theatre evening laid out in dialogues, and forms divided choruses that renegotiate the way we deal with property at each performance. The big question here: can the property principle be overcome through common effort?
