Description

As part of Hamburg International Music Festival, which this season explores the subject of identity, the University of Hamburg offers a lecture that is open to all. In this fascinating and insightful talk, Professor Dr Thorsten Logge, a historian specialising in public history, attempts to answer fundamental questions such as, »How are nations formed? «, »How do people come to feel part of a group?« »How are individual and collective identities interlinked?« »And what role does the media play in the processes of nation building?«

Please note: this event takes place in German.
