Der Alte-Musik-Guru Jordi Savall studierte Cello – bis er die Gambe entdeckte und ihrem farbenreichen, zärtlichen Klang verfiel. Der Savall-Schüler Paolo Pandolfo studierte Kontrabass – und wechselte zur Gambe. Und Romina Lischka, bis vor wenigen Jahren Pandolfo-Schülerin an der Schola Cantorum in Basel, lernte zunächst klassische Gitarre – und wechselte, ja genau, zur Gambe. Außerdem ging die junge Österreicherin nach Indien, um dort Gesang und Improvisation zu studieren. Ihr weiter musikalischer Horizont, ihre technische Meisterschaft und ihre Neugier machen Romina Lischka zu einer der spannendsten jungen Musikerinnen in der Alte Musik. Seit ihrem Master in Brüssel 2008 spielt sie fest an der Flämischen Oper und in verschiedenen Alte-Musik-Ensembles, u.a. in Philippe Herreweghes Collegium Vocale Gent. Begleitet von Theorbe und Cembalo präsentiert Romina Lischka in Hamburg französische Gambenmusik des 17. und 18. Jahrhunderts.

Chamber music series, lieder recitals, children's concerts and jazz events seem to be made for the Recital Hall of the Laeiszhalle, which can accommodate up to 640 guests. (Please note: The Laeiszhalle is a separate concert hall located three kilometres away from the Elbphilharmonie.)

Please note: There are several construction sites in the immediate vicinity of the Laeiszhalle which may make it difficult to get to the concert. Please therefore plan enough time for your journey to the concert.
The Laeiszhalle is a separate concert hall located three kilometres away from the Elbphilharmonie.
We suggest visitors arrive at the Laeiszhalle main entrance not later than 30 minutes before the start of the concert or event. Late seating is not guaranteed and latecomers may not be admitted to the concert hall.
The entrance of the Recital Hall is located on Gorch-Fock-Wall.
