Das Klaviertrio ist die Königsgattung des Jazz. Zumindest aus Sicht der Pianisten. Erroll Garner und Bud Powell, Bill Evans, Oscar Peterson und Keith Jarrett – sie alle haben mit ihren Trios Jazzgeschichte geschrieben. Und dabei die Latte so hoch gelegt, dass junge Jazzpianisten lange Zeit auf andere Besetzungen auswichen. In den 90er Jahren jedoch eröffneten Brad Mehldau und Esbjörn Svensson dem Klaviertrio im Jazz neue Wege, und im vergangenen Jahrzehnt sind zahlreiche hochklassige Bands entstanden, die sich der so faszinierenden wie diffizilen Jazz-Kammermusik ohne Bläser widmen. Als Klaviertrio für Aufsehen zu sorgen, ist derzeit gar nicht so einfach. Da bedeutet es einiges, wenn das Pablo Held Trio um den erst 26-jährigen Kölner Pianisten unter Jazz-Fans als eine der spannendsten Formationen der europäischen Szene gehandelt wird! Gemeinsam mit seinen langvertrauten Partnern Robert Landfermann und Jonas Burgwinkel nimmt Pablo Held die Hörer mit auf eine spannende Reise durch komplexe Strukturen, filigrane Klangfarben und inspirierte Improvisationen.

Chamber music series, lieder recitals, children's concerts and jazz events seem to be made for the Recital Hall of the Laeiszhalle, which can accommodate up to 640 guests. (Please note: The Laeiszhalle is a separate concert hall located three kilometres away from the Elbphilharmonie.)

Please note: There are several construction sites in the immediate vicinity of the Laeiszhalle which may make it difficult to get to the concert. Please therefore plan enough time for your journey to the concert.
The Laeiszhalle is a separate concert hall located three kilometres away from the Elbphilharmonie.
We suggest visitors arrive at the Laeiszhalle main entrance not later than 30 minutes before the start of the concert or event. Late seating is not guaranteed and latecomers may not be admitted to the concert hall.
The entrance of the Recital Hall is located on Gorch-Fock-Wall.
