Nightline: Nils Frahm presents Nonkeen

With childhood friends Frederic Gmeiner and Sebastian Singwald, he founded the trio Nonkeen, which performs his debut album »The Gamble«. Reviewed in the magazine Spex, the album is »a mix between pop music from the radio, classical compositions and improvised works«. In fact, many tracks emerged from improsessions, recorded on an old cassette player and later digitally edited. The album’s music is the quintessence of a long, experimental journey through the world of electronic sounds and despite the musicians’ youth, they have recognised an exquisite patina.
