Description

The Elbphilharmonie project »In C« invites the public to a mammoth performance of Terry Riley’s work of the same name. The title is not a printer’s error, but the name of one of the very first pieces of minimal music – a style that was born in the USA in the 1960s and is based on the repetition of simple musical phrases or motifs. Anyone is welcome to participate, the only requirements being the ability to read music and attendance at the rehearsals before the concert. Information on how to register will be available from September at www.elbphilharmonie.de/en/join-in
