Description
Max and Friends bring the Christmas magic of Hollywood to the stage with a twenty-piece ensemble. Accompanied by opulent strings and brass, they create a warm soundscape that envelops timeless Christmas songs like sparkling icing. Five outstanding singers lend their voices to the great classics and together create the dream world of this music.
At the glass grand piano of Udo Jürgens, pianist and bandleader Maximilian Kraft guides the audience through the evening and adds extra sparkle to the arrangements. The program ranges from the swinging big band sound à la Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, and Michael Bublé with heavenly choir arrangements in the style of the Andrews Sisters to soulful, groovy Christmas hits by Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Chris Rea, and Stevie Wonder. Passionate, spirited, and full of festive emotions – a concert that lets the familiar highlights of the Christmas season shine in new splendor.
