Titans with ease

What would a concert season at the Elbphilharmonie be without Igor Levit? The star pianist is one of the concert building’s regular guests whether as a soloist, with full orchestra or in special programmes, such as his concert »Against Silence – Against Anti-Semitism« in autumn 2024. He now returns with the Mahler Chamber Orchestra, the world-leading orchestra with an international line-up, which enters the race here self-confidently entirely without a conductor with good-humoured Shostakovich and Beethoven.
