Les Hommes du Swing
Jazz at the Kulturcafé / Please note the change of venue
Description
Les Hommes du Swing was founded in May 2015 and consists of well-known musicians from the Hamburg jazz scene. In addition to violinist Jordan Rodin, a member of the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra, the band includes guitarists Patrick Farrant and Benjamin Boitrelle, as well as bassist Axel Burkhardt. The quartet’s repertoire includes both traditional swing and gypsy jazz, a genre with which all the musicians have long been very familiar. With its traditional line-up, Les Hommes du Swing celebrates the French roots of this music and looks forward to enriching the Hamburg jazz scene.
Please note: For organisational reasons, the concert has been relocated to Studio E of the Laeiszhalle.
