In a relaxed atmosphere, the »Klangzeit« concerts offer a break from everyday life. Here, you can listen to the wonderful music of Ensemble Resonanz and sing along to familiar songs. In these entertaining, roughly one-hour programmes, everyone is welcome just as they are. This makes the concerts particularly suitable for people with dementia and their loved ones – the music often stirs deep memories and brings them back to the surface. All venues are accessible.

The Albertinen Haus – Centre for Geriatrics & Gerontology is a federally recognised institution for old people's medicine based in Hamburg-Schnelsen. It is one of the biggest geriatric and gerontological institutions in northern Germany, and integrates a wide variety of health services for elderly people, from pensioner's apartments through hospital and day-patient treatment, out-patient and in-patient care to specialised services for dementia sufferers such as day care and independent shared apartments on site. Cultural events at the Centre ensure that patients have the chance to participate actively.
