Description

The Jugend-Sinfonieorchester Ahrensburg (JSOA) was founded in 1968 and has since gained experience on many international stages. In over 50 years, the young musicians have performed not only works by Beethoven to Wagner, but also film and musical music as well as world premieres by international contemporary composers. Furthermore, many instrumentalists in the orchestra also gain unique stage experience through solo concerts. The JSOA maintains friendships with ensembles in Europe, Asia and the USA and visits youth orchestras around the world once a year.
