With his trademark electric-shock hair and beard, Jean Rondeau is one of the most recognisable figures in the early music scene. He discovered the harpsichord at the age of six; by the time he was twelve he had been admitted to the Paris Conservatory as a junior student. Today, Rondeau is an award-winning harpsichordist much in demand, a passionate jazz musician, and Artist in Residence at Hamburg’s Telemann Festival.
