Inspired by Disney and Studio Ghibli soundtracks, Ichiko Aoba’s music creates a magical, fairy-tale atmosphere. She is a one-woman orchestra. With her voice and delicate guitar, she weaves stories that evoke the nostalgia of childhood. After seven critically acclaimed studio albums to date, her latest album »Windswept Adan« (2020, co-produced by Taro Umebayashi) is her most ambitious work to date, incorporating strings and other instruments into her sonic palette.
