Techno-Ambient from Chile
With a captivating symbiosis of classical and experimental music, the Chilean composer, producer, and performer Diego Noguera has established himself internationally. His musical journey has repeatedly led him to Sasha Waltz, with whom he has collaborated on acclaimed projects such as »Beethoven 7« and »for the time being.« It is therefore quite understandable that Noguera was invited by the choreographer to her curated Reflektor Festival.
Through the multilayered textures of acoustic and electronic instruments, as well as the use of vocals, he creates a sound world in which one forgets everyday life and ultimately returns home as if in a trance. Musically, he moves confidently between experimental ambient music and techno. In Hamburg as well, he will captivate the audience with his live set.
As an established figure in the experimental music scene, Noguera has built up an extensive portfolio of compositions for theatre, film, and dance. His international projects have led to premieres in Chile, Singapore, the USA, and throughout Europe. In the process, he has worked with renowned choreographers such as Sasha Waltz and José Vidal, the film director Lemohang Mosese, and the theatre director Manuela Infante.
