Der Klang der Stimme / The Sound of the Voice
The award-winning documentary »Der Klang der Stimme« (The Sound of the Voice) portrays four musicians and researchers who look into the marvel that is the human voice. After the film, director Bernard Weber invites the audience to take part in a conversation. This event is linked to the concert of big Russian choral symphonies given by the Ural Philharmonic Orchestra on 20 November.

Zeise Kinos has been offering a sophisticated and entertaining art-house cinema programme from Germany, Europe and the world in the unique atmosphere of a former propeller factory since 1993. Surrounded by countless bars, cafes and restaurants, the cinema is located in the middle of Hamburg’s vibrant Ottensen quarter. The Great Hall has a capacity for 367 cinemagoers and is regarded as one of Germany’s most beautiful cinema auditoriums.
