These enchanting gems of the operatic repertoire have only rarely been performed on German stages until now. And it is to Hamburg tenor Daniel Behle’s credit that he is giving new life to Schubert’s incredibly extensive dramatic work, which with just a few exceptions was also never performed during his lifetime.
