Streichquartett mit seinen Geschwistern zu spielen, ist in großen musikalischen Familien nicht nur praktisch, sondern oft auch künstlerisch eine gute Idee. Das beweisen seit Jahrzehnten das Hagen und das Mandelring Quartett, in dem jeweils drei Geschwister mit einem nicht-verwandten Kollegen musizieren. Seit kurzem sorgt nun auch in Schweden ein 3+1-Quartett für so viel Furore, dass die Stockholmer Konzerthalle es als »Rising Star« in der Laeiszhalle und anderen führenden Konzertsälen Europas präsentiert: das Dahlkvist Quartett. Es besteht aus den Geschwistern Kersti, Jon und Hanna Dahlkvist aus Stockholm und dem Geiger Bartosz Cajler, der nach seinem Studium in Warschau in die schwedische Hauptstadt kam, um sich den letzten Schliff zu holen. Seit fünf Jahren spielen sie zusammen, nun haben alle vier ihre Studien abgeschlossen, haben ihre ersten Erfahrungen als Solisten gesammelt und starten in eine Streichquartettzukunft, die Großes verspricht. In Hamburg präsentieren sie ein spannendes pan-skandinavisches Programm aus Romantik und Moderne – und den Quartettsatz D 703 von Schubert.

Chamber music series, lieder recitals, children's concerts and jazz events seem to be made for the Recital Hall of the Laeiszhalle, which can accommodate up to 640 guests. (Please note: The Laeiszhalle is a separate concert hall located three kilometres away from the Elbphilharmonie.)

The Laeiszhalle is a separate concert hall located three kilometres away from the Elbphilharmonie.
We suggest visitors arrive at the Laeiszhalle main entrance not later than 30 minutes before the start of the concert or event. Late seating is not guaranteed and latecomers may not be admitted to the concert hall.
The entrance of the Recital Hall is located on Gorch-Fock-Wall.
