Description
Dieter Ammann zählt zu den bedeutendsten Schweizer Komponisten der Gegenwart. National und international mehrfach ausgezeichnet, steht seine minutiös ausnotierte Musik im Spannungsfeld zwischen höchster Differenziertheit und roher Vitalität. Mit der »Boulangerie« hat das Boulanger Trio in den vergangenen zwei Jahren seine eigene Konzertreihe in Hamburg und Berlin etabliert, die Konzert und Salon miteinander verbindet und eine Brücke zwischen zeitgenössischer Musik und Werken des klassisch-romantischen Repertoires schlägt. Jede Veranstaltung ist einem Komponisten der Gegenwart gewidmet, der während des Konzerts anwesend ist und mit den drei Musikerinnen über sein Schaffen spricht. Im Zentrum steht dabei nicht die musikwissenschaftliche Analyse der Stücke sondern ein persönliches Gespräch über die Musik. Dieter Ammanns Komposition wird wie gewohnt Werken des klassischen Repertoires gegenübergestellt, die für den Komponisten eine persönliche Bedeutung haben. Zum Ausklang des Abends wird der Dialog zwischen Künstlern und Publikum bei Baguette und Wein fortgesetzt.

Studio E has a charming small stage with direct daylight and offers seating for 150 people. (Please note: The Laeiszhalle is a separate concert hall located three kilometres away from the Elbphilharmonie.)

Laeiszhalle is not at the Elbphilharmonie
The Laeiszhalle is a separate concert hall located three kilometres away from the Elbphilharmonie.

Arrival time
We suggest visitors arrive at the Laeiszhalle main entrance not later than 30 minutes before the start of the concert or event. Late seating is not guaranteed and latecomers may not be admitted to the concert hall.
The entrance of the Recital Hall is located on Gorch-Fock-Wall.
