Music that goes to the heart
Boris Kosak & Freunde offer a unique blend of classical, musical and pop in their new programme »Barocco«, with which the sought-after group is currently on tour throughout Europe. The countless beautiful melodies by Hamburg composer Boris Kosak take the audience into a very special and unmistakable world full of joy and happiness, splendour and melancholy and always goosebumps - to rave about and sing along to!
The musical guests and outstanding soloists Julia Appel, Luis Amarilla, Eddy Checo Rodriguez and Svetlana Font Martí bring with them many years of experience in fiery Latin music, musicals, opera and classical chanson and together they create a programme that is both tasteful and sophisticated as well as entertaining, accompanied by cinematic orchestral sounds and electronic beats.
The benefit concert supports the diverse activities of the non-profit organisation »Bürger-Helfen-Bürgern e.V. Hamburg«. The association’s commitment is wide-ranging and extends from mentoring for refugees and language support for people with a migration background to the promotion of artists and cultural participation in the Hamburg metropolitan region. It aims to help people to help themselves in all circumstances and to support citizens in need. The organisation is also the sponsor and developer of the Hamburg Volunteer Exchange, which pools and networks volunteer work.
