BLUFF
Jazz at the Kulturcafé / Please note the change of venue and starting time
Between Hamburg and New York
BLUFF is the project of four young jazz musicians based in Hamburg. The quartet is orientated towards the young New York scene and incorporates this inspiration into its own music. Role models such as Ambrose Akinmusire and Immanuel Wilkins can clearly be found in BLUFF’s compositions. The four musicians understand each other so well that the music almost creates itself: starting from the melody, they break out into great dynamic arcs and yet always find their way back to the refined simplicity of their own musical style. The band radiates a joy of playing on stage that spreads to the audience.
Please note: For organisational reasons, the concert has been relocated to Studio E of the Laeiszhalle and will begin at 18:30.
