Sänger der sechs Saiten

Born in Baltimore in 1951, the guitarist Bill Frisell is a quiet star, a master of soft tones, subtle moods and clear melodies. Like his contemporaries and colleagues on the electric guitar Pat Metheny and John Scofield, the American musician has been a proponent of a modern, stylistically open understanding of jazz with folk, rock, fusion and classical influences for 40 years.
