Description

Batzorig Vaanchig is one of Mongolia’s most influential musicians and is widely known as the viral voice of Mongolian throat singing. A master of the morin khuur (horse-head fiddle) and the ancient art of khöömii (throat singing), he brings centuries-old songs and nomadic traditions to life with powerful authenticity.

In 2026, Batzorig presents his first European solo tour, offering a unique encounter with his personal repertoire. His concerts feature Mongolian praise songs (magtaal), traditional folk melodies, and instrumental works on morin khuur and other traditional instruments, centered around the extraordinary art of throat singing. An immersive musical journey into the vast landscapes and living traditions of the Mongolian steppe!
